The Raleigh Campaign

As we prepare for our move to Raleigh, students joining the law school in August of 2008 may have several questions as to how that move will affect them. Below are a few questions and answers to help them understand just what the law school is doing to make our move to Raleigh a smooth one.

Will the entire Campbell University be moving?
No. Only the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law will be moving. All other colleges of Campbell University will remain in Buies Creek, NC.

When is the law school moving to Raleigh?
We currently plan to move to Raleigh in August of 2009. All law classes will cease in Buies Creek at that time. Rising second and third year law students will no longer attend classes in Buies Creek, but will resume their law studies in Raleigh.

What if I want to enroll in a joint degree program?
Law students will still be able to enroll in our JD/MBA or JD/MTWM program. Law students will need to commute to Buies Creek or our RTP campus in order to take their MBA or MTWM classes (depending on where they are held). All law classes will be held in Raleigh.

Where will the law school be located?
The law school will be located at 225 Hillsborough Street. This location is in downtown Raleigh within walking distance of local law firms and court houses, restaurants, and other points of interest you will want and need as a law student.

We will continue to update information on our Raleigh move as developments occur. You can be sure that we are working to bring the same rigorous law program to Raleigh that has existed in Buies Creek.
