Through a cooperative arrangement between Campbell Law School and the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University, students may pursue the following joint degree programs:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Trust and Wealth Management (MTWM) degree

Students interested in pursuing a joint degree program are not required to apply separately to the School of Business. Rather, students who satisfactorily complete the first year of studies in the School of Law may, upon recommendation of the Law School Dean, be admitted to the MBA or MTWM programs. Through careful planning, most students complete the requirements for these joint degrees within the three years of law school.

The Juris Doctor and Master of Trust and Wealth Management Program

Campbell Law School, in conjunction with Campbell’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business, offers the nation’s only joint degree program in law and trust and wealth management. This program is designed to place students into professional positions within bank trust departments, private banking departments, investment management and securities firms, and financial planning firms around the country. Students enrolled in this joint degree program gain expertise in the following areas: personal financial planning, risk management and insurance, security analysis, portfolio management, tax planning, fiduciary practices, and estate and trust administration.

Graduates of the JD / MTWM Program are also eligible to sit for the national Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Certification Examinations and earn the certification, Certified Financial Planner.

Graduates of Campbell’s MTWM Program are recognized nationally for having the hands-on training, people skills, and technical expertise to take their place as leaders in the financial services industry.

Additional information on the MBA or MTWM Program can be found at www.campbell.edu/business/mba. Questions about the MBA or MTWM Program should be directed to 910.814.4308 or MBA@campbell.edu.
