Phi Alpha Delta is the world's largest professional legal fraternity serving the student, the law school, and the profession. The international organization offers:

  • Professional programs
  • Student loans
  • Job preparation
  • Job placement assistance
  • Insurance programs
  • Quarterly publication
  • Conventions, conferences, awards
  • Lifetime friendships

The Campbell chapter has a strong commitment to community service and was recognized for its work in 1987 when it was named the Outstanding Chapter in the Region. Every year the PAD chapter at Campbell hosts the James Iredell Banquet honoring an individual for outstanding contribution to the North Carolina legal community.

In the fall semester, PAD sponsors its annual "Hat Party" to welcome back students, and in the spring semester hosts the annual Casino Night Party. PAD members also participate in the Law-Related Education Program, in which members work with local school teachers and are made available to students to answer legal questions and to share their law knowledge through case studies and mock trials.

PAD was voted the best student organization by Campbell law students in 1997. Membership is open to all students. PAD's motto is "Service to the law student, the law school, the lawyers, and the community."
